Canoeing the route of the Voyageurs

In 1971, Larry & Margaret Stone spent 109 days paddling and portaging 1200 miles on the historic Canadian fur trade route of the Voyageurs. They’ll share slides and memories of their adventure at 6 p.m., Monday, February 10, at the Central State Bank Community Room in Elkader. Sponsored by Friends of the Elkader Public Library.
